The gate cameras recorded a maroon suburban that ran into the exit gate today. The vehicle drove off with damage to the front fender, driver's side. A license plate number was retrieved for further investigation.
Association Management Services dispatched the gate company for repairs, which were already underway late this afternoon.

LOL...no mention of the resident's entry gate malfunctioning, again.
This was prior to the exit gate accident.
Yeah, I understand the gate tech starting working on that this afternoon too.
I suggested to the HOA months ago that more reflectors be installed on the exit gate but it appears this was a bad idea for some reason. I guess it's cheaper to just repair it each month verses try some preventative measures.

I wasn't aware of your suggestion, but I thought there was sufficient reflective tape on the gates. I'll check for it on the new exit gate.
Regardless, the latest crash occurred in daylight. Excessive speed and slick roads may have been factors.
