National Night Out Activities Planned

The FSR Safety and Social Committees are teaming-up this year to organize National Night Out, America's Night Out on Crime, Tuesday, 7 October, 7-9 pm. FSR block parties are registered with the City of San Antonio to ensure the widest possible participation with elected officials and public servants.

The following locations will host NNO activities.

17 Branwood
6 Brent Cove
4 Chapelwood
21 Edgecreek
25 Ferris Creek
21 Finesilver
9 Summer Bluff
12 Twinpost

According to the National Association of Town Watch, NNO is a unique crime and drug prevention event designed to:

• Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness


• Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs


• Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships


• Warn criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back

San Antonio Police and Fire will visit as many locations as possible. Also meet our Blue Armor Security officers. Child ID and safety education kits will be available free of charge at all locations.
